Part-time office administration - Undertaking data entry and book-keeping whilst studying a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Part of the commercial team, responsible for sharing and planning work across more than 130 government and private sites across NSW, with responsibilities ranging from travel planning and data collection through to analysis and preparation of findings for occupational hygiene reports and submitting associated recommendations to clients. Responsible for undertaking indoor air quality, airborne contaminant, and other environmental monitoring; hazardous material and contaminant surveys and sampling; as well as the management, preparation and delivery of hazardous materials registers and air quality investigation reports.

Based in both administrative and laboratory work environments, responsible for the handling and management of laboratory samples (including occasional biohazardous and biosecurity risk materials); assigning appropriate microbiology tests to samples before their arrival in the laboratory; accurately maintaining up to date sample records within the company database; and acting as a first point of contact for clients.

(University Placement):Responsible for designing, undertaking and managing experimental research into various species of invasive tropical weeds, as well as assisting in laboratory and field work, report writing, data collection and analysis, as well as other research duties as directed by senior Invasive Weeds Scientists.
