"Someone once told me the definition of hell: on your last day on Earth, the person you became will meet the person that you could have become." This quote coupled with kindness and honesty are central to who I am, and comes before any personal accolade, interest, or aspiration.I am an ambitious Information Systems Honours student and passionate Allan Gray Orbis Foundation (AGOF) Candidate Fellow at the University of Cape Town with an undergraduate in Computer Science and Information Systems. After being recognised for 60+ leadership hours in a previous Head role for my residence, during which I spearheaded the 2022 legacy project, I am now embracing a new challenge as the current Vice Chairperson for the UCT Developer's Society to create a meaningful impact. A determination for quality and a diverse problem-solving toolkit that encompasses strong technical, interpersonal, and analytic skills enabled me to:- Achieve second place for my final year Business Process Management project out of ~25 teams. - Place on the Dean's Merit list for consistent, academic excellence. Previous notable academic achievements are being awarded with the top Information Technology and second highest overall learner in the Johannesburg East D6 district awards of 2020. My entrepreneurial and growth mindset is eager to identify problems and solve them with innovative, value-focused solutions cemented in design-thinking principles. A diverse academic background of multiple disciplines with the teachings of entrepreneurship and personal development by AGOF have added to this. This has shaped me to become well-rounded but adaptable to spike in skillsets when needed. In the near future, I aim to add value to the organisation I am fortunate to join. My goals are to accelerate my personal growth, nurture business acumen, and enhance my technical skillset in a diverse workplace. In exchange, I strive to empower those around me and produce work of the highest quality. Past that, I envision myself as the CEO of a startup that later gives back as a figure in education. In this journey, I will continue with my interests in football, football data analytics, design, and reading film analyses :)
