The core of this role revolves around supporting our clients via service desk applications and providing day-to-day maintenance and upgrades where required.Our core responsibilities span across a number of key strategic areas, as outlined below.▪ Monitoring operator consoles and responding to system requests and messages.▪ Manage and follow-up to resolution problems reported via the service desk.▪ Ensuring hardware/software applications and network components are operational.▪ Controlling user log-on and registration requirements.▪ Contributing to the development of operational procedures.▪ The ability to work a shift solo if required▪ Coaching/Mentoring of newer team members▪ Preparation of shift reports detailing activity, issues, work status, etc.▪ Acting as Shift Lead whilst on shift with Level 1 Systems Administrators.Such other responsibilities that may be reasonably assigned from time to time.
