I am from Chandler, Arizona. I am a senior at the University of Arizona and will be graduating and commissioning as a Second Lieutenant into the Air Force in May 2022.I am an Operations & Supply Chain Management major, minoring in Military Science. As I previously mentioned, I am an Air Force ROTC Cadet, where we are instilled the tenants of leadership, followership, and critical thinking as future United States military officers. It has afforded me many unique opportunities, such as receiving the Air Force ROTC Commander’s Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship personally awarded by my detachment commander, Colonel Carlos R. Messer, Jr. for my leadership abilities, classroom and fitness performance, and standing as a top cadet in my class.Upon graduating and commissioning, I will be an Air Battle Manager (13BX). Being an Air Force officer means leading large numbers of diverse forces from different ethnicities, religions, socio-economic backgrounds, and more. The leadership abilities that I have gained in Air Force ROTC, as well as the professional development that I continue to gain in the Eller College of Management, inspire me to move forward with my pursuit of my intended career field.
