Tasked with using SQL and Google Connected Sheets to automate and improve a manually maintained dashboard for the pricing team. Soon, teams were requesting their own versions, so I expanded it into three different dashboards: one for pricing to track MGO, one for marketing to track ad campaigns, and one for the executive leadership team to get a high level view on daily performance. Overall, the dashboards provide more insight on the daily level for various stakeholders while reducing refresh times from hours to seconds.Maintained and managed our collection of 40+ key dashboards and the corresponding LookML. This included establishing a Looker developer chat with guidelines around submitting changes to LookML, informing members of the executive leadership team and their direct reports how and where to access relevant data, fixing any bugs that arose in dashboards, and ensuring that definitions, data quality, and data accuracy remained consistent across all dashboards.Worked with a colleague to clean up our LookML data by adding documentation, removing obsolete views, and combining similar views. In total, over 100 views were deleted, leading to improved legibility, efficiency, and decreased costs with no loss in functionality. Since then, Looker has become more accessible for users.Created a scorecard for our expansion sites based on profitability, market size, and current performance to determine which sites should receive more focus and marketing spend. Due to this analysis, twelve new sites were selected to have personalized app development, pricing changes, marketing spend, and monitoring.
