I have over ten years of combined Law Enforcement experience. I am currently a Georgia POST-certified Law Enforcement officer, field training officer, and general Instructor. My current assignment is with the Cobb County Police Department as an Agent with the Marietta Cobb Smyrna (MCS) multi agency task force, in the Organized Crime/Intelligence/Gang unit (CAGE). My investigations focus on Gangs (Violations of the Criminal Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act), Organized Crime (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act), Narcotics (Violations of the GA Controlled Substances Act), and general intelligence gathering. I am recognized as an expert witness in Gangs and Gang culture through Cobb County Juvenile and Superior Court.I also serve as a member of the Cobb County Police Department SWAT Team on the technical operations unit. My role is to operate, maintain, and deploy the equipment used by the SWAT Team such as the armored vehicles, robots, drones, munitions, weapons, cameras, etc. I am also a FAA (part 107) certified drone pilot.Before joining the police department, I was a Security Contractor with Advanced Protective Services. I provided armed security at various locations, conducted VIP protection, and physical security inspections at various buildings and other security sites.I have eight years of Military experience in the United States Army, serving as a Military Police Officer and Criminal Investigator. My military career started in 2013 with the Georgia Army National Guard as a Private (E2) with the 170th Military Police Battalion. I was assigned to the S3 Operations section tasked with mission planning, security threats, and running a Tactical Operations Center. In 2016, I moved to the Army Reserves and joined the 335th Signal Command. My job was facility security at the cyber-warfare office. We were responsible for physical security inspections, armed security, and weapons training. I was certified through the NTOA as an active shooter response instructor. I then moved to the 383rd Army Criminal Investigations Division. I was assigned as a Military Police Officer tasked with protective services for VIPs and dignitaries and assisting Agents with their investigations. Lastly, I went to the 290th Military Police Brigade, where I served in the operations section at the Brigade headquarters. I managed military vehicles, mission planning, weapons training, and other staff office responsibilities.
