About Dylan Tullius
A Sr. petroleum geologist with over 10 years of experience in the industry, I have an entrepreneurial and management-heavy background. I have worked in exploration, operational, and development roles as well as managed teams on large projects. I currently serve a role heading up special projects, running multi-basin competitor analysis as well as evaluating Lower 48 A&D. My history as a college professor as well as my ability to work well with a wide variety of people allowed me to successfully head up the recruiting and intern programs for 8 of the 9 years I have been with Antero. I have a field-heavy background as a geologist which has been a utilized skill during my time with Antero. I took the role of team lead for a 3-year study-to-implementation of one of the Appalachian Basins' first regional oil and gas sand plants. I gained expertise in all lower 48 regional and local sand operations and greenfield possibilities as well as sand transport, mining logistics, plant construction, and operation. I have also headed up CCUS and Lithium recovery projects. I have software expertise in Petra, Kingdom, Interactive Petrophysics, Starsteer, Adobe Illustrator, ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and a host of smaller programs. This expertise allows me to head up database management and software development programs for the Geology department alongside my current role. I spent 9 years growing my own small business from the trunk of a car into a successful franchise in multiple Colorado towns with many employees before my graduate work.
