Responsible for the 24/7/365 management and oversight of dairy manufacturing facility producing fluid and cultured dairy products. Directly responsible for 6 supervisors and 150 hourly associates.▪ Lead weekly milk spoilage inter-departmental meetings and drove actions between Production, QA, and Maintenance resulting in a 2.88 CCPM reduction in 2021 vs. 2020.▪ Continuously improved material loss from zero metric during tenure. Selected by senior leadership to conduct monthly dairy material loss calls for all fluid dairies to share best practices in 2021.▪ Implemented daily “Tier 2” meetings leading to improvements in Safety, Quality, and Reliability.▪ Executed “plantwide huddles” with hourly associates to improve communication and morale during the pandemic leading to a “high engagement” score in 2020.▪ Coached, mentored, and developed RL’s, leads, and CTP through succession planning, leadership calibrations, and performance reviews.

Responsible for the 24/7/365 management and oversight of two distinct, high-capacity lines producing more than 6.5 million units a year. Directly responsible for 4 supervisors and 75 unionized associates. Organized and contributed to continuous improvement events which helped the plant to meet and exceed company goals for schedule compliance and downtime reduction.  Implemented a new inventory control process eliminating short-cycled production runs and improved schedule compliance; corrected more than $100K worth of inventory variances Executed decisive staffing actions to balance headcount while seeking to reduce cost per unit expenses; heavily involved in HR processes of hiring, feedback and discipline. Primary leader and direct point of contact for experienced team members such as department leads, cooks, equipment line operators, and warehouse associates.

Responsible for the daily shift management and oversight of three production lines and supervision of up to 50 unionized associates. Served as a key leader of the plant safety team and safety observation coach, which helped the plant to achieve a “Double Excellent” safety rating within the company and longest streak of OSHA recordable accident-free days in the plant’s history. Coached, trained, and developed hourly associates, including front line leaders. Lead daily production meetings reviewing and creating action items to meet plant KPI’s in Safety, Quality, and Reliability. Worked closely with Union leadership transitioning the workforce toward the long-term plant goal of a High Performance Work System.

Directly responsible for oversight of daily operations at the Kroger Returns Processing Center, managing the inventory of unsaleable merchandise for 109 Kroger stores. Coordinated 400,000 to 600,000 pounds of non-perishable food donations annually to local food banks in Cincinnati. Selected as team captain among eight supervisors providing training and leading weekly conference calls with Kroger senior management. Selected by senior management to lead project team to update standard operating procedures to ensure customer satisfaction with Kroger, the company’s largest customer. Implemented new processes and procedures to streamline production and reduce waste. Maintained records of large quantity damaged and recalled inventories utilizing reverse supply chain software to attain store credit from vendors.
