I hold a Master's degree in Sports Management and Sports Analytics from Fort Hays State University, coupled with an undergraduate degree in Ministry Leadership from Johnson University. My academic journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in both leadership and analytical skills. During my studies, I completed several projects that directly relate to the responsibilities of this position. For instance, I developed Shiny apps for batter and pitcher profiles, conducted dozens of player analyses, and created a consistency factor and player grading scale. These projects have honed my ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.My practical experience includes roles such as Data Operations ABS Tech with Major League Baseball, where I managed technical equipment setup and provided technical support to umpires using ABS. At Athlete Lab, I cleaned data using R and performed player analysis for MLB and MiLB, while also teaching R coding and supporting students. As a Hitting Instructor and Coach at HIT Nashville, I set up hitting routines for youth and collegiate athletes and operated all equipment, including Rhapsodo.
