Responsible for recruitment, researching opportunities and relevant collaborative projects. Advising council, educators, general public, and institutions, allowing them to continue development and implementation of resources. -

Responsibilities:-Provide peer support-Refer students to other services-Promote social connectedness and engagement Promote healthy and balanced lifestyles-Maintain a space that is inclusive, positive, and socially engaging-Attend training, team meetings, and supervision. -An extra role I picked up was Morning Assistant, where I would ensure the space was set up, Covid cleaned, and performed extra jobs as required.-I also led an equity project where I created a survey to gather data on LGBTQ students' perception of the space; if it felt welcoming and what types of activities they would like to see more of. I created a report and presentation on this and all the work I did, after the data collection was finalized. This was reported to staff across the University.This has opened other opportunities for me, such as becoming the LGBTQ representative for Everton Hall, assisting in the University Open Day 2022, and supporting in events for Manawa Ora Student Wellbeing at VUW and other LGBT events. -
