    After the loss of my father, I moved back to the family business to ensure it's stability during a difficult transition. The immediate need was in Sales, so I took on the role of sales manager. In my first two years we jumped to over 60% market share in our local market and were awarded the Strongest Growth award from our supplier, KIOTI Tractor.My passion still being in IT, I've also deployed a full mesh wifi network, hardened firewalls, migrated to office 365, built disaster recovery processes and procedures for the business, assisted in migrating from legacy accounting software to an a cloud based accounting and inventory management suit. Utilizing powershell I was able to automate the vast majority of our migration. I have also built scripts that automate inventory management, price list updates, and stock location information for our 800,000+ products.

    As the managed services products grew in popularity the team began to grow, I moved into team lead and manager for this department. I developed a series of powershell scripts that would Sync orders automatically from our legacy ticket system to our task management software, JIRA, via rest APIs, and that allowed us to have more control over managing new orders on a daily basis. With KanBan, I led quick daily meetings with project managers and provisioning personnel to ensure roadblocks were removed and orders were completed within SLAs. I also started to become a staple in the pre-sales process, assisting with technical portions of RFPs, providing deeper technical information to prospective clients, and being an escalation point to Solution Architects for large scale custom deployments.

    I was brought in as the first member of this team to pioneer the processes and procedures. The goal being a link between sales and operations, a client facing roll that ensured the sold solution was deployed to work within the customers requirements. Defined all network diagrams, internal documentation, and provided QA to new customer rollouts. Additionally, this team would be responsible for all managed services. Primarily around DRaaS. In this role I would configure Zerto, often including on-prem deployments, build all firewalls and VPNs for replication, then protect workloads, perform test failovers and DR tests. This service also included large runbooks detailing the processes and procedures for a business to declare disaster as well as every step required to successfully fail over the environment into the warm site.This role also included a lot of our professional services, primarily around migrating customers in from their current environment. It felt like we moved one ~15 machine environment every week into the cloud.

It would also re-open existing tasks so we would have a complete history of any failed backups for this particular job, which enabled us to find re-occurring problems more easily.
