Firstly, I enjoy the challenges that require sophisticated problem solving skills. this has always been a strong point for me whether that be in my day-to-day activities or solving complex mathematical models. I have been obsessed with finding the most efficient/productive ways of tackling a challenge throughout my life. This has resonated in my engineering studies massively allowing me to achieve outstanding grades thought my time at university.I have achieved a first class with honours in my Bachelor's degree and am on track to achieve that same in my Master's. More importantly I have developed a broad but detailed skill set including technical knowledge, software proficiency and group project experience. While at university I have studied a number of state of the art topics such as, Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, Offshore Engineering, Conventional and Alternative Energy Systems, Materials and Processes and Mechatronics. All of which I have gained a good understanding in.When I am not studying for university I tend to further my knowledge in relevant or interesting topics that are not covered in as much detail. For example I have recently read Brilliant Project Management by renowned project manages Stephen Barker and Rob Cole.Here is a list of software that I have had experience using: SolidWorks, Abaqus, FAST 2 AQWA (F2A), Arduino, Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint.
