Providing direct services through therapy in individual settings as well as classroom push-ins for elementary school students ranging from ages four to ten years old. Interventions and therapeutic techniques include expressive therapy, the Super Flex curriculum, and CBT interventions. Additional duties included conducting Diagnostic Assessments, completing Treatment Plans with clients and their families, and using telehealth communication to conduct therapy sessions with clients.

Additionally, shadowing therapists in school settings providing interventions for clients during one on one therapy sessions.

Providing services for clients living with profound mental illness assigned to MBI Health Services Taylor St.’s ACT team. Services included fostering independence, developing life skills for clients, medication management, as well as providing therapeutic interventions in group settings by facilitating alcohol and substance abuse groups for clients living with profound mental illness.

Serving displaced and vulnerable peoples in the Washington, D.C. community through working one on one with clients during social services walk-in hours and provided case management for Bread For the City Rep Payee’s in the form of client advocacy.

Interviewing children and adults regarding DHS allegations of abuse and/or neglect, referring clients to appropriate services, researching criminal and child welfare history of clients, working with local court and law enforcement employees, establishing child safety, leading child safety meetings involving DHS employees and families, and maintaining and inputting thorough case information into OK DHS systems.
