Following the successful sale of Oasis Dental Care to Bupa, the M&A strategy continued and Bupa Dental Care UK and ROI continued to expand to c480 dental practices and 10 Laboratories and is the largest private dental care provider in the UK.My key role was to accurately report IFRS Group consolidated monthly accounts, manage the year-end audit and statutory financial accounts submission for the +150 companies in the Group, drive forward the legal entity rationalization project, manage the Balance Sheet with an emphasis on reducing risk, oversee UK and ROI VAT returns and corporation tax submissions, provide insightful financial analysis on the Laboratories division in order to budget and strategize the growth of the division, manage the integration of newly acquired companies whilst working closely with the M&A team and manage the successful transition from FRS102 to IFRS reporting and also to IFRS16 standards.

In 2017, we successfully sold Oasis to Bupa from Bridgepoint (a Private Equity backed business) for £835m (x15 multiple EBITDA).As the Financial Accounting Manager, I was responsible for reporting to banks (in order to meet covenants reporting requirements), managing statutory accounting and tax compliance, managing the Capex, Financial Systems and Laboratories division team and also work closely with the M&A team in order to successfully integrate the newly acquired businesses and minimise any risk
