My role is to assist Professor Anita Corbitt in remaking our social media section in the class communication for public health professionals at the University of Texas at Arlington under the Department of Kinesiology. We have extensively reviewed current literature to deliver the best educational material and developed relevant assignments to communicate and adapt to the ever-changing social media platforms. We are reviewing our work and hope to implement these changes in the coming academic semester.Go Mavs,

• Conducted strategic geographical research about 29 cities based on assessment data that leverages strategic resources and benefits of an area compared to laws and regulations for manufacturing companies. • Displayed research using the ArcGIS map and ArcGIS dashboard to effectively showcase areas with immense potential for business growth and areas with potential for future business development. • Assisted in cross-disciplinary discussions on multiple forms of research, assisting people from various disciplines on different projects, including machine learning, histology imaging, and strategic mapping. • I created a web scraping tool in Python to gather address data by parsing the pdf data, organizing the data into different categories, and then outputting it as a CSV file.

It was a two-semester program provided by SEA-Phages, were for the first half of the semester, we had to identify and isolate a bacteriophage from a dirt sample we would collect in a wet lab. In the 2nd semester, we were tasked with analyzing a genome with a partner and comparing it with others in the same cluster.
