Responsibilities included the cast and crew tents, arriving to set first and leaving last, notifying local businesses of nearby filming, being the face of production to anyone asking questions, and other location needs.

As an intern at Vertigo Entertainment, Dylan reviewed scripts, books, comics, short films, and pilot episodes submitted by agencies, and presented coverage to Vertigo's producers, helping them to find possible movie-adaptations. Dylan worked directly with film producer/company owner Roy Lee, executive Miri Yoon, and vice-president Andrew Childs, coordinating their meetings and schedules with companies like Warner Bros., Blumhouse, Comedy Central, and CAA.

Dylan worked with a variety of professional lighting, grip, and electrical equipment, and assisted with the preparation of equipment shipments for shows like Stranger Things and Mr. Mercedes. Ironman 3, Swamp Thing, and The Conjuring have all been produced at the Screen Gems studio in Wilmington, NC.

Columbus, Ohio Area

As a Guest Engagement team member, Dylan interacted daily with a variety of zoo guests that ranged from families and seniors to teenagers and school field trips. Dylan helped to maintain a positive and safe environment throughout the zoo, talking to guests, offering answers to FAQs, guiding first-time visitors, and completing tasks for team leaders.

Columbus, Ohio Area

As an intern at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's Discovery Reef, Dylan worked for the duration of the school year caring for and feeding variety of marine animals ranging from invertebrates to fish and sharks. Dylan was responsible for tank maintenance, and worked closely with zookeepers, learning about fish husbandry, water chemistry, and aquaculture.

Dylan worked with the TealTV production team as their Director of Photography and Camera Operator for their feature length film, "On The Air", the largest undergrad and student-produced film at UNCW.
