I am motivated by learning new things every day and making a positive impact on the world.I started my engineering journey as an intern for ACE wind tunnel, located on campus at UOIT. During this opportunity, I was introduced to the world of innovative thinking and problem solving, which occurred daily while maintaining and testing in various climatic chambers. I met some inspirational individuals along the way who taught me to always think outside of the box. Coinciding with my completion at ACE, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and evolved into the workforces.This is when I began as a sales engineer at Lev-Co, a mom-and-pop innovative customer-focused company, helping people breathe clean air. Providing a clean and healthy work environment for hundreds of people makes the long nights and overtime all worth it, to me. I progressed within the company to manage all projects across Western Canada and throughout the USA. This challenging journey has vastly enhanced my project management and communication skills, resulting in experience to near my goal of obtaining my P.Eng.In addition to my engineering roles, I am also an Entrepreneur, pursuing my own ideas and ventures. My business, Yoked Outdoors, that had originated from a hobby turned full scale. This product development from ground-up was tough, but I learned plenty from both the business and engineering sides. I have also gained valuable sales experience working directly B2C selling my products. The best way to learn is to do.As a Mechanical Engineer at Li-Metal, I apply my passion for innovative design, creativity, and problem solving to create cutting-edge solutions for the metal industry. I use my skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and SOLIDWORKS to design, model, and test various components and systems, ensuring quality and efficiency. I also collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget, leveraging my communication and project management skills.
