Contracted to UCSF as a Project Engineer for UCSF's Construction Logistics Management Program. Responsible for coordinating construction activities between ongoing projects, managing master schedules, reviewing project logistics plans, and analyzing and developing centralized dashboards and visual metrics for UCSF Leadership consumption and use. Ad hoc services also include process controls development, consultant management, automation integration into existing processes, and more.

Gained experience with OSHPD, UCSF BPS, and Genentech processes and culture. Responsible for delivering projects on-time and at budget using detailed document control, logistics planning, scheduling, smart documentation creation and management, and subcontractor supervision. Delivered a -80C BioStore cryogenic freeze 3 months ahead of schedule and at budget prior to joining Jacobs.

Responsible for residential construction and project delivery, including project planning and scheduling, managing inspections, subcontractor supervision, and building healthy relationships with clients through strong communication and coordination. Worked closely with client and head architect to ensure design needs were met and PO's were made in a timely manner.

Handled a variety of skilled labor tasks including rough and finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, decking, sheetrock hanging/taping/topping, HVAC, and specialty installations. Worked closely with clients to ensure design preferences were met and problems were prevented early on in the rough building phase. Assisted with beverage inventory management and responsible for food and beverage safety, customer success, and appliance maintenance and repair. Responsible for engaging 3 of the 5 entire restaurant buyouts, which on average carried 150% sales growth when compared to an average night.

Responsible for production of seasonal store-set up manuals, how-to guides and window displays, maintaining and communicating merchandising strategies, and creating visual newness for existing and prospective stores.

Assisted with conceptual floorplans and transitions into retail and direct-to-consumer solutions, in addition to visual builds and mock-ups. Accountable for supervising construction contractors during set builds and retail implementations.

Built sets for Pottery Barn Kids Visual Merchandising for retail stores and direct-to-consumer photoshoots, including everything from complete store layouts to individual product highlight displays.

While accruing valuable building skills, I was an independent contractor for most of my early collegecareer. Projects included furniture repair and restoration, sprinkler system installations, landscapemaintenance, and repair and woodworking installations. Time management, efficient projectprioritization and proactive self-marketing were essential to my success as a contractor.
