As an IT Support Specialist II, I am responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure of the company, as well as supporting my coworkers with their day-to-day tasks.I manage all users and computers on the network through Active Directory and Group Policy. I am responsible for creating all new user accounts and setting up all new equipment on the network including computers, thin clients, and printers. I manage our company's Exchange server and all email addresses or distribution lists.Another large part of my role at Forney is managing our EDI system. I am responsible for pulling in all incoming documents to our Vantage Point system and sending them in to our Microsoft AX ERP, or back off to our trading partners. This often entails correcting errors in our documents by going into AX or our SQL servers to find the necessary information to correct the errors.I am also the main manager of our company's help desk system. I handle most of our internal tickets that our users send in, or I pass them along to the appropriate person.

As a Resolutionary Analyst, I had to learn all aspects of the Encompass route accounting software. I used this knowledge to assist customers with any questions, issues, or bugs that they may encounter. My time at Encompass gave me experience with navigating large databases and also boosted my customer service knowledge by speaking with customers over the phone almost daily.

As a building manager I was responsible to make sure that all rooms are set for events and that all events run smoothly throughout the day. I was also the liaison between the Event Planning Office and the client and was responsible to make sure the client has everything they need. I setup technical equipment for the clients such as projectors, computers, polycom phones, microphones, etc. I was the main point of contact for any incident or problem in the building and could then delegate and coordinate between departments such as custodial, setup, catering, or operations.

I held the position as a sales associate at Ram Tech, the computer and technology store on the CSU campus. I worked with computers, both Mac and PC, handled and counted money, as well as used our store's point of sales and inventory systems, all on a daily basis. This job also required me to communicate with and help the diverse student and staff population of CSU.
