Hi LinkedIn friends (a.k.a. fellow network nodes!). I'm currently a full-time data scientist at Zappos, a company known for embracing "fun and a little weirdness" through its stand-out company culture. As part of the Zappos Organizational Sciences Consulting team, I get to dive into investigating how the hidden relationships between teams evolve over time. I work with Neo4j and my work includes building graph algorithms, stock and flow simulations and agent-based models, as well as learning about the psychology of team productivity. My colleagues and I aim to lay a strong scientific foundation for self-organized companies of the future.

I am diving head first into the world of online education. Mnemonic Academy and Udemy is where I am developing programming courses enhanced with mnemonic memory tools to help learners grasp concepts faster and more thoroughly. Starting with foundational Python courses and then expand into adjacent data science packages such as TensorFlow and scikit-learn, along with guidance on effectively using data science notebooks. I am working with the Downtown Project on their $400 million redevelopment initiative to track, understand, and enhance social interactions among community members to boost entrepreneurship. This involves assessing a partnership with MIT, quantifying interactions, creating pedestrian visualizations, measuring idea flow, and improving the city’s walkability.

CTO of Ticket Cake, a startup doing for events what Salesforce does for small businesses. My responsibilities included a lot of disjointed roles including raising capital (seed and bridge by Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh), managing a developer team, overseeing several software projects including customer analytics tools, UX and our mobile app, and being responsible for company culture.
