About Dylan Free
I received an MAT in Secondary Physics Education from PennWest University as a B.S. in Physics from Penn State Behrend. Immediately after graduating from PennWest I began working in the Erie School District as an eduacator. Since I graduated from Behrend I have been working at Above and Beyond Childcare (ABC) in a teaching capacity. I work with ages as young as 2 months to as old as 12 years old. I am the lead teacher of our school age program and as such I am responsible for writing and executing the lesson plans for our school age program.In my time outside the classroom at Penn State Behrend, I have been very active on my campus participating in several clubs. I have held leadership positions in the Student Government, International Student Organization, Model United Nations team, and MultiCultural Council on my campus. My leadership positions have ranged from being a representative to different councils, to being in Presidential roles and helping run the clubs I am apart of. My time in clubs have helped me learn how leadership has to change based on the people you are around. People react to different types of leadership in different ways, so being able to adjust is very important.
