Inclusionary Zoning) and capital/operating funding programs. • Liaised with municipal and regional staff to obtain necessary planning approvals to enable construction-ready projects while informing policy makers of affordable housing challenges/opportunities. • Secured $32,000,000 in Rapid Housing Initiative grants for ~100 homes in Haldimand-Norfolk and Region of Peel through a competitive bid process.• Advocated for affordable housing through key stakeholders, including leading a webinar for the CACPT (Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians), highlighting ways in which Planning Technicians can leverage their expertise and position to become better AH housing allies.
