As the Assistant Director of Video Production for Northeastern athletics I have an active role in shaping the public image of the athletic department. While Northeastern University as a whole continues to grow build its brand amongst the City of Boston and the higher education community, the athletic department is also striving to become a more prominent member of Boston's thriving sports landscape. The video production department contributes to this effort by creating unique and engaging video content designed to connect viewers to the Northeastern Brand and cultivate a deeper fan base amongst the NU student population and the general population of the Boston Area. We accomplish this goal by producing live, professional caliber broadcasts of nearly all of our home athletic contests which are distributed for free online and often times through cable television syndication. In addition, the video production department creates engaging feature video content to highlight the many innovative techniques and impressive accomplishments of the athletic programs while always trying to tell the compelling stories of NU athletes.One of my main roles within the department is to train and guide our team of student employees who work as production-crew members on our broadcasts. I am also tasked with serving as the Engineer, Director and/or Producer of these broadcasts including many broadcasts which have been syndicated through NESN, Comcast Sportsnet New England, NHL Network and the American Sports Network. Another main function of my role is to lead the team of shooters and editors who help us produce feature content that exemplifies the mission of NU's Athletic Department. These pieces range in scale from player-personality-based videos to comprehensive behind-the-scenes features as well as strategic video content designed to be displayed on our video board at Matthews Arena with the purpose of enhancing the fan experience at games.

- Conceptualize, shoot, edit and promote video features and other NU athletics-related content for GoNU.com.- Serve as Director and/or Producer for live game broadcasts on GoNUxstream.com.- Prepare graphics and corresponding audio for arena video-board, designed to encourage fan engagement during games.
