“The fact that I have an audience and a voice gives me chills because it wasn’t too long ago I felt voiceless.” Back in June of 2020, I gave a Ted Talk discussing the importance social media has on my life and on the lives of others around me. I specifically remember saying this line as it encompassed my commitment, perseverance, and hard-working mentality. No matter how my life was outside of social media, online, I hoped to inspire those who watched my videos. I strived to be a light for supporters feeling down. I remember giving a meet-and-greet in San Francisco in 2017 when a parent came up to tell me my live streams made her daughter laugh, and she looked forward to watching me every day. Stories like this motivate me. Hearing these messages keeps me fueled. Today, I am still a content creator on social media with over 6 million followers online. However, I am much more than that. At 22 years old, I am an eager learner, trying to gain knowledge and wisdom with every venture. Hailing from Atherton, the heart of Silicon Valley, I am a business leader developing multiple startups focused on technology, community, e-learning, creators, and social media. I currently host a podcast bringing industry executives to speak on their careers, experiences, and work. I am also a motivational speaker on mental health, social media, and entrepreneurship. The desire to create and innovate is something that I carried with me my entire life, even when I was five years old running a charity lemonade stand where I donated 100% of the proceeds to the World Wildlife Fund without my parent's knowledge. Since then, I have created an online persona (Rodin' Flash), a clothing line (Dream Big), a social media talent agency (Chalk Network), an augmented reality design studio (SnapLens.Tech), a record label (Rodin' Records), an online boutique, and an Internet radio station.This is just the beginning. I have so many working projects that I am excited to share with the world.
