Assistant Service Manager:- Maintain 80% of previous field work in Lakes, Wetlands and Preserves- Serve as a resource for technicians in the field regarding problem solving skills, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and providing suggestions for account management- Help coordinate technicians daily schedules and tasks to be performed- Overview technicians work performed to ensure quality control and provide suggestions for improvement- Oversee and help with regular maintenance and complex repairs to shop equipment - Assist in preparation of paperwork for the Corporate Office Southwest Regional Biologist:- Gather water, soil, sediment cores, algae, and plant samples from the field to be sent to the Corporate Lab for testing - Perform Dissolved Oxygen (DO) profiles, Slope Analysis, and Lake Bathymetric Mapping - Test chloride levels monthly in samples pulled from on site pumps and wells- Prepare quarterly reports for South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) regarding pump usage and chloride levels - Provide Fisheries Management on Lakes per customer request- Stock game fish (bass, bluegill, & redear sunfish) - Use the electrofishing boat to collect fish for weight and length studies for healthy population size reports- Measure culverts and other possible escape routes for Triploid Grass Carp to build barriers in compliance with FWC- Prepare prospective Triploid Grass Carp reports and requests to FWC in order to receive approval for regulated Carp stocking - Installation of Carp barriers and Carp stocking once FWC conditions for stocking have been met and approved
