As an accounts payable specialist it is my responsibility to manage financial records. An accounts payable clerk position requires bookkeeping and accounting skills, with duties like preparing bills, invoices, and financial statements. I check for financial discrepancies, and organize databases and records of employer’s finances. Making sure all bills are paid and all numbers are accounted for is most of the day-to-day work of an AP specialist.More specific duties include:- Manage and prepare all invoices on an everyday basis and send it for approvals.- Evaluate and reconcile all vendor statements and manage all inquiries.- Manage and verify all expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.- Administer and distribute various vouchers and gather approvals from managers.- Maintain and update all account payable data and ensure accuracy in general ledgers.- Monitor all vendor calls and address all issues for account payable schedule and appropriate disbursements.- Manage and ensure vendor receives 1099 forms and resolve all issues.- Evaluate all account payable balance and resolve all unpaid invoices issues.- Perform audit on various expense reports for suppliers.- Coordinate with various departments and ensure appropriate coding to all packing slips.- Assist various departments to process purchase orders and subcontracts.- Monitor all payment submission and ensure processing within month.

While in the role of Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager it is my responsibility to handle all the business decisions concerning food and beverages served to customers. F&B Manager is ultimately responsible for making the restaurant profitable and maintaining the quality food and drink in their establishment. More underlying responsibilities include the following:- Must be up-to-date with food trends and beverages. For instance, some of today’s customers are looking for gluten-free and vegetarian options as well as standard fare. It’s up to the manager to select and adjust menus that can satisfy these guests as well as stay within the budget and attract sales.- The goal of every restaurant is repeat customers. F&B Managers must be able to handle any concerns that come up as well as proactively ensure that guests are having the experience they are looking for.- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, order supplies, maintain inventory records as well as accounting records and manage expenses.
