My role involved closely shadowing the Data Center Manager, tracking crucial performance metrics, and presenting an in-depth project aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.Shadowing the Data Center Manager: Gained hands-on experience by observing the Data Center Manager's daily operations. This included overseeing server maintenance, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing best practices for data center management.Tracking Metrics: Monitored and analyzed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as server uptime, response times, and ticket resolution rates. Utilized data analysis tools to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to data-driven decision making.End-of-Internship Project: Conducted a comprehensive analysis of AWS's data center operations with a focus on increasing efficiency. Summer Associate | Sanitization Crew, Front-End Assistant, Produce Stocker Costco Wholesale – Issaquah, WA May 2020 – August 2020During the summer of 2020, amidst the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to work at one of Costco Wholesale’s flagship locations in Issaquah, WA. My tenure at Costco involved a versatile role, encompassing responsibilities as part of the Sanitization Crew, Front-End Assistant, and Produce Stocker.Sanitization Crew: As a vital member of the sanitization crew, I contributed to maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment. I adhered to rigorous health protocols and sanitization procedures to ensure the well-being of both customers and staff during the pandemic. This role demanded a keen eye for detail and a commitment to health and safety standards.Front-End Assistant: In this capacity, I assisted customers with their purchases, ensured a smooth checkout process, and handled inquiries efficiently. My role required strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service. I supported cashiers, managed shopping carts, and ensured the front end operated seamlessly.Produce Stocker: Within the produce department, I was responsible for stocking and organizing fresh produce. Summer Coach | Gymnastics East – Issaquah, WA June 2019 – August 2019During the summer of 2019, I had the rewarding experience of working as a coach at Gymnastics East in Issaquah, WA. My role involved engaging with young students through various camps and instructional sessions, fostering their growth and confidence in gymnastics, tumbling, and parkour.Kid Camps: Organized and led summer camps designed for young children, creating a fun and supportive environment that encouraged physical activity and teamwork. Developed age-appropriate activities that kept campers engaged and excited to learn.Gymnastics Instruction: Provided hands-on coaching to students, teaching fundamental gymnastics skills. Focused on ensuring proper form, safety, and technique while making the learning experience enjoyable and motivating.Tumbling: Taught students the basics of tumbling, helping them develop agility, coordination, and strength. Emphasized the importance of practice and perseverance in mastering new skills.Parkour Training: Introduced students to the principles of parkour, guiding them through safe and effective techniques. Encouraged creativity and problem-solving as students learned to navigate obstacles with confidence.Through this role, I honed my ability to communicate effectively with young children, adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, and foster a positive and energetic atmosphere. My time at Gymnastics East not only enhanced my coaching skills but also deepened my passion for working with children and helping them achieve their physical potential.

My job is more than just bagging groceries and pushing carts. I ensure people groceries are bagged correctly and won't break, I ensure they are given a smile and a conversation to try and brighten their day. I've worked with customers who have disabilities such as leading a kind blind man around the store to help shop or bring an electric cart out to a customer with a walking disability. Whenever their is a liquid or food spill of any kind I work hard to clean it up to make sure customers don't slip or step on any food which might cause discomfort or injury. My coworkers and I work hard to ensure customers are given the best shopping experience.
