Led community engagement actvities for site assessments of solar-hybrid mini-grids for 75 underserved communities across Fiji as part of a USTDA funded project.

The Gender Awareness and Transformation through Education (GATE) Project is a partnership project between Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) and Trinity College Dublin (TCD) designed to support the development of gender expertise and capacities in research and education at DUCE.-Research focus on institutional efforts toward gender equality in Tanzania-Identified best practices in higher learning geared toward gender equality-Qualitative analysis of interviews with staff from fourteen Tanzanian universities-Extensive institutional document review, data collection, and ArcGIS mapping projects-Gathered, reviewed, and summarized literature from scientific journals and produced graphs and other scientific calculations using NVivo qualitative data analysis software.

-Advocacy research on humanitarian impacts of climate change in Honduras and Malawi-Identified vulnerabilities in international programming targeting poverty alleviation-Extensive literature review and institutional document review-Performed statistical, qualitative and quantitative analysis.-Analyzed acquired information and presented to staff and professors.

-Connected stakeholders and supported emerging local leaders in Zambia to promote sustainability of development projects.-Extensive immersion and cross-cultural experience in Northern Zambia.-Authored a USAID funded grant for $4,000 in collaboration with NGO WorldFish to facilitate the training of 16 farmers on breeding tilapia and increasing aquaculture production in rural villages.-Achieved Peace Corps food security goals in partnership with the Government of Zambia by training small scale farmers on aquaculture methods that led to increased quality of nutrition and protein availability in rural communities.-Supervised engineering of 6,900 sq ft of new fishponds.-Trained 70+ farmers on aquaculture, agriculture, integration of crops, record keeping, and business skills that led to higher yields and increases in annual income.-Collaborated with the Government of Zambia’s Department of Fisheries to support and monitor rural aquaculture at the village and district levels.-Composed quarterly monitoring and evaluation reports.-Monitored or tracked sustainability indicators such as farmland usage, harvest yields, trainings received, income generated, and knowledge gains.

-Worked with Peace Corps representatives for every province in Zambia to design and inspire gender equitable programs to be implemented by volunteers in their communities, with an emphasis on the Let Girls Learn initiative. -Facilitated workshop on gender equality and certified 30+ volunteers and community members on progressive gender equitable practices-Partnered with other committees to revamp training on sexual assault within the organization-Organized and facilitated Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) Camps and co-authored a grant for $3,600; funded by PEPFAR -Empowered 40 adolescent girls from rural areas on gender equality, sexual health, overcoming barriers to education, self-esteem, leadership skills, and confidence-Helped facilitate HIV/AIDS interventions for 40 adolescent girls, covering topics of testing, positive living, and treatment, targeting PEPFAR goals-Performed condom demonstrations and held sexual health discussions with 40+ local farmers, mostly men between the ages of 25 and 50. -Managed the Gender Committee’s social media presence by documenting, photographing, and sharing volunteer projects with gender equality components.

-Policy research focused on political developments of the Middle East North Africa region.-Monitored international news and composed weekly news summaries.-Organized events for the Global Student Office.-Drafted articles, letters, reports and technical documents on policy and public affairs issues for publication.

-Academic internship serving in Florida’s 9th Congressional district local office.-Compiled census data for congressional projects.-Greeted and welcomed constituents and guests at the office, offering immediate assistance and liaising between upper office staff and the general public.-Filed constituency reports and followed up on constituency requests.-Performed administrative duties such as answering phones, distributing mail and updating databases.-Assisted staff with special projects and communications.

- Worked with a budget of over $80,000 to plan and execute monthly alcohol alternative events with average attendance of over 1,500 students. - Solicit vendors and performers to participate at Late Knights events. This includes providing hospitality, coordinating operational needs and contracts in conjunction with the offices of UCF Environmental Health & Safety and Activity & Service Fees.- Coordinate with 6 other board members responsible for separate aspects of the event.
