I'm an "INFP” on the Myers-Briggs scale (https://www.16personalities.com/infp-personality).In a volunteer capacity, I serve as Community Advisory Council Member for South Side Healthy Community Organization, a non-profit focused on building health equity for Chicago's underserved South Side residents, and as Community Organizer for the Coalition to Save Our Mental Health Centers, which works to ensure that all Chicago residents, especially the low-income and underinsured, have access to adequate and affordable community mental health services. In past years, I spent considerable time mentoring inmates at county jails and state prisons in Illinois and Ohio, registering first-time election voters, and supporting local and national grassroots political campaigns.
