I am a 4th year student at the Haskayne School of Business, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree with an interest in supply chain and finance.I am a member of the Varsity Men’s Basketball team at UCalgary. I have been selected as a captain on the team as I demonstrate leadership through my work ethic, positive attitude, and extensive basketball knowledge. I always put the team’s needs before my own and focus on improving my weaknesses rather than showing off my strengths. I am a basketball coach at the high school level and junior high school level, and I also volunteer at the YMCA with the youth sports program. These roles allow me to use my basketball knowledge to coach and mentor the next generation of athletes to live out their athletic dreams. Professionally, I bring my work ethic, problem solving, and attention to detail to every position I hold. I have worked four full-time summer work positions and have excelled in all four. I most recently worked as a summer student for Veren Inc. with the financial reporting team. I completed my term for each of these positions on a positive note and formed long lasting relationships with my employers and coworkers. I work best in fast-paced and collaborative environments.
