Having earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Tennessee State University in December 2020, I am currently immersed in pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Florida in the Class of 2025. My fascination with pharmacy took root during the seventh grade and has since guided my education. Every phase of this extensive and fulfilling journey has been deeply rewarding. Currently, my focus is in pursuing a career in retail pharmacy following the completion of my studies. Nevertheless, I remain open and receptive to exploring new career routes that may ignite a fresh sense of enthusiasm and curiosity. I have successfully completed a community Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) rotation at CVS Pharmacy, as well as a hospital IPPE rotation at AdventHealth Orlando. These experiences were not only fulfilling but also reaffirmed my decision to pursue the field of pharmacy. Following the culmination of my community IPPE, I was offered a position at CVS and have been actively interning with them for the past year. Engaging with patients during each interaction has been immensely gratifying, and I have taken great pleasure in honing and perfecting the skills that are integral to my success in the field of pharmacy.I firmly believe in the significance of carving out personal moments to prevent the onset of burnout. Therefore, when not studying, I take delight in reading self-development books, challenging others to chess matches, finding new spots to go fishing, or enjoying the company of good friends.
