Leading an analytics function within the retail energy sector.Implemented team pivot from reactive reporting to proactive analytics through development and implementation of analytics and data management strategy, focusing on descriptive (tell me what has happened), discovery (tell me something I don't know), predictive analytics (tell me what will happen) and enterprise wide data strategy fundamentals (security, governance, centralisation, accessibility, accuracy).Introduced and developed Simply Energy Insight program using standardized template to deliver approx. 50+ business insights across business, including but not limited to: smart meter usage profiling, customer experience, A/B marketing campaign testing, customer segmentation, basket analysis and acquisition and retention campaign strategies.Designed and implemented individualised team member Deliberate Practice program/curriculum using team based skills & competency matrix to drive fast and iterative up-skilling in relevant identified techniques, tools and systems, including Python, R, Tableau, machine learning, story-telling, data visualization best practices, agile scrum, stakeholder management and insight development.Introduced agile scrum methodology using custom workflow designed with Trello, Google Forms, Google App Script and IFTTT. Facilitated adoption of Agile Scrum and Trello to broader business through bespoke Trello training for other teams.Introduced and implemented documentation platform using Atlassian Confluence and code version control using Sourcetree.Facilitated and led conversion of 95% of all business dashboards from excel to Tableau, reducing manual BAU from 3 days per week to 3 hours. Developed and implemented Contract Database for entire business hat automates contract approval process and enables automated contract renewal management.
