In a multifaceted role at ACED, I led critical projects and was at the forefront of community outreach, particularly for the Vacant Property Recovery Program (VPRP). My responsibilities spanned from spearheading infrastructural projects to reviewing and updating program policies based on the changing dynamics of Allegheny County.• Spearheaded initiatives at the Carrie Furnace Redevelopment site in Rankin, PA, promoting the development of light industrial tech-flex spaces and rehabilitating the Hot Metal Bridge for pedestrian access.• Managed the design, development, and installation of streetlights and an alternative entry at Tech One Park, Monroeville, PA.• Championed the marketing efforts of the VPRP by building relationships with partner organizations and community stakeholders across Allegheny County.• Streamlined the creation and distribution of VPRP application materials and enhanced client understanding through tailored education on the program's processes and parameters.• Executed comprehensive application reviews, including in-depth analyses of rehabilitation and construction plans for both residential and commercial structures, ensuring alignment with Allegheny County's standards.• Facilitated effective communication channels with potential applicants and municipalities, aiding in conflict interest reviews, code violation assessments, and property evaluations.• Led VPRP council preparations and meetings, encapsulating property presentations, tracking of deliberations, and securing council endorsements for property acquisitions.• Mastered the drafting and preparation of legal and contractual documents like Sales Agreements, Declarations of Taking, and Certificates of Completion, safeguarding both applicant and county interests.• Collaborated synergistically with VPRP partners, vendors, and teams, fostering a cohesive environment for program implementation and outreach.
