Rejoined a water filtration startup as they are purchasing a new 150k sqft facility and scaling manufacturing in the textile industry. Responsibilities include: headcount, supply chain, quality, maintenance, finance (no CFO!), manufacturing, and of course automation/manufacturing engineering.

· Developed internal ‘Manufacturing Execution System’ using no-code JIRA software to increase product velocity 10x in 10 months.· Created and led interdisciplinary teams to tackle engineering configuration management, product validation and acceptance, and supplier control ultimately codifying and controlling the underlying business processes for AS9100 certification.· Jump-started the AS9100 certification effort for the Anduril ATL location, created and successfully executed to the 8-month timeline by removing roadblocks and communicating goals to adjacent departments.· Championed supplier control through nonconformance resolution with 0 repeat defects, creating the supplier contract documents with 100 suppliers onboarded, and visiting/auditing to enforce quality requirements. · Initiated the machined parts outsourcing program to reduce part cost by 20%, increase quality and on-time-delivery, and consolidate machined part pipeline to 3 high quality vendors instead of >10 bad ones.

Mobilized the Precision Strike Missile Dallas-based manufacturing team to perfect the fabrication processes of 54 distinct, complex aerospace parts to deliver high quality parts in a fast-paced development-program atmosphere.Engineered process stability into previously undefined and chaotic 5 axis mill and Lathe machining processes through repeatable and reliable system automation as well as implementation of Lean Manufacturing Methodology when automation was insufficient. Engaged with missile program Design Engineering, Measurement (CMM) Programmers, and Machining (NC) Programmers to identify defective parts, create corrective action plans, and swiftly implement those plans to limit repetitive defects and costly part scrapping and repairs.Spear-headed the implementation and use of new Apriso (Manufacturing Execution Software) module (Visual Quality Defect Tracker) by advocating for the Dallas mechanical and electrical shops as well as creating all SOP’s and teaching more than 50 Operators, Inspectors, Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality Engineers how to utilize it in accordance with AS9100 QMS requirements.Orchestrated the proposal and acquisition of $250K of Tool Monitoring Adaptive Control (TMAC) equipment for use as a pilot to provide real time tool wear data as well as reduce HPU by a projected 20% just from spindle dwell time and active tool wear monitoring.Advised the Digital Development team on the deployment of automated creation of TDP’s (technical data package) and identified factory interface challenges and process gaps, additionally, providing guidance towards sustainable solutions.

Entrepreneurial rebuild of the club's member base with realization of a new team culture.

· Implemented a layout in a confined shipping dock that eliminated triple touches while mirroring the discreet shipping process steps for visual management of work in progress.· Engineered a layout and process for the crating area for PET, CT, and X-Ray systems that doubled the output capability as well as reduced lost parts and increased communication between operators.· Introduced a uniform escalation process across all sections of the shipping dock that encompasses the most common issues with orders from item picking to systematic transactions and increases the visibility to support staff and enables operators to work past issues.

Aided in the use of a thin-film Roll to Roll manufacturing machine for novel polymer electronics production.Investigated numerous nano-composite materials with continued refinement towards a future publication in conductive polymer processing.

· Researched and developed new products, with 1 patent awarded and 2 patents pending.· Devised quality management system to manufacture an NSF/ANSI certified filtration product. Certified to NSF/ANSI 42, 61, (Potable Water), 50 (Pool and Spa), 372 (Lead Free).· Designed and resolving a manufacturing process through iterative machining/experimenting of the equipment’s parts for maximizing speed (~50% increase) and minimizing waste (from 40% to <5%).· Negotiated the sourcing of raw materials form two different suppliers and worked with the suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes and reduced non-conformance by more than half.

Characterization and optimization of ultra-filtration membranes with nano particle additives.

I conducted experiments and compiled data for a disposable sensor project to detect certain ions in water.
