During my time at general assembly I learned how to develop responsive web applications and RESTful APIs utilizing development tools and frameworks such as Node and Rails. Projects required collaborating with teams in an agile workflow, utilizing pair programming, and version control software. Each week involved 80 hours of coding and being mentored by industry professionals. My greatest takeaway was learning how to approach design patterns and new technologies with confidence.
