Project manager of product launches on Marine Layer's website.In this role, I create deadlines and objectives cross-functionally to ensure seamless product launches for our web business. Coordinating goals between the ecommerce, copywriting, merchandising, and visual production teams to ensure launches have samples for photoshoots, retouched images for the site, product copy and specs, and site merchandising done to brand standard.Upkeep of the website is also under my discretion. Editing job postings, store information and hours, color swatching and linking on product pages, and selecting product recommendations for customer ease and inspiration.This role is equal parts project management and cross-functional collaboration with product teams, brand, and customer service to ensure the site is brand-forward, product-accurate, and exciting for the customer.Well-versed with the platforms Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias, and Asana.

In this hybrid role, I acted as a liaison between our Ecommerce and Custom Experience teams.Half of this role continued my Customer Experience work on Gorgias answering customer queries and concerns, as well as NewStore for order assistance and inquiries.The other half of my time, I worked with our Web Merchant to assist with product launches by building product pages, swatching products on the website, and pulling brand email KPI's.

Problem-solving and customer success were the main objectives of this role. Using Gorgias, NewStore, and Shopify to email with customers, fix order issues, reroute order allocations, issue refunds, and engage with the retail fleet.

In this role, I ensure the relationship between merchandising and sales are mutually beneficial and netting positive results. I draft daily KPI emails for district brand reporting, ranging from top class sellers in-store, our store conversion numbers, and sale performance vs. sale forecasts. These numbers influence what products I merchandise as well as how and where I do. I merchandise all product within the store, ranging from apparel to jewellery to beauty products. Similarly, all forms in-store are outfitted and dressed by myself to reflect monthly company directives as well as sale results and reflection of customer interaction with current product assortment. Each season I deinstall our previous display art and install all new art throughout the store using a scissor lift. Quality electric wiring experience, as well as experience using drills, scissor lifts, and cord control in ceilings. Travel intermittently to help other Free People locations with store openings and seasonal display art installations.Manage a small team of 8 with our Store Brand Leader in customer servicing, upholding COVID-19 protocols and safety measures, running the sales floor, communicating with district and Home Office leadership, and new employee onboarding.
