I have created RVshare's internal Trust & Safety platform which is responsible for identifying, classifying and acting on signs of fraud or bad behavior in the marketplace.The platform utilizes both conventional & A.I. powered detection systems. Depending on the severity of the signal, the platform will automatically perform a variety of actions to compensate.Closely studying the customer's data and the behaviors of bad actors, I have found the signals that differentiate normal user behavior from the different segments of fraudsters and bad actors. In addition, I have helped incorporate checkpoints in the marketplace as confidence checks to deter fraudsters.The combination of these systems has drastically reduced RVshare's fraud rate and ensures customers experience the ultimate RV renting experience.

ACCARD is a Medical Information System used by physicians in the Perelman School of Medicine. The application is built with cancer research in mind, and it is highly customizable through it's administration interface, much like Wordpress or Drupal. It is a very abstract Symfony2 application.My tasks and projects include:* Building a templating system that allows ACCARD administrators to edit the view code of the site without actually making commits to the real code. I made a WYSIWYG editor that stored views into the database which were then loaded by the Twig templating system.* Writing unit tests with Mockery and Codeception and teaching other developers on how to do so themselves.* Changing JS code through my template system to made sometimes complicated conditional form logic.* Creating highly abstract OOP code with design patterns.* Creating a system to securely retrieve relevant medical information from other systems to store on ACCARD.* Acted as part of a team with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
