I started learning how to build websites in 2007 because I loved the way you could have an idea, visualize it online through your own website, and then have this incredible tool to connect your idea with the world. I then shared my work and simplicity of design with a newspaper, who hired me as an Online Media Consultant.In 2010 I started focusing my work in support of humanitarian and environmental causes. At that time I also started going for long, 2-3 hour walks every day. Walking is one of life's simplest activities, yet it had the most profound impact on my perspective and inn-peace. Walking so much taught me to be fully present, and appreciate the life happening all around me, wherever I happen to be. In 2012 I departed for my first grand pilgrimage of the West Coast, walking most of the Northern California coast as well as the entire Oregon coastline. While at the same time still providing website creation and management services using a laptop and a mobile hotspot (or sometimes coffee shops and libraries along the path).It was during that time I knew I wanted to devote my life's work towards raising awareness and supporting causes that work to ensure everyone has access to life's basic needs such as clean water, food and nutrition, good education, healthcare and a healthy environment. I came to the realization that at the root of so much suffering in the world is a broken relationship within the human family, and my life's mission is to do work that may help repair that relationship to help us all ~ and life on Earth ~ thrive.
