Hi, my name is Dylan Rasmussen. I am currently a sophomore at Florida Polytechnic University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.I've wanted to be an engineer for as long as I can remember. The satisfaction of bringing an idea to life is incomparable. In pursuit of this goal, I've become fairly experienced in CAD, primarily through personal projects; however, my time at Poly has also sharpened this skill.My concentration at the moment is Materials and Advanced Manufacturing Techniques; however, I am considering shifting to Advanced Topics as it would provide me with a wider knowledge base.Outside of engineering, I enjoy music, woodworking, bread baking, and whittling. These hobbies have taught me patience, precision, and dedication—qualities I believe will serve me well in my engineering career.
