CurrentCurrently developing and maintaining Twitch's Delivery Infrastructure, including Content Delivery Networks that serve over 30 million daily users for the main desktop experience (www.twitch.tv), mobile experiences (m.twitch.tv), and living room applications (Xbox, PS5, Apple TV, etc). These also include static assets, images, and dozens more.Additionally, I work on the origin web servers for the Twitch frontend, which is globally scaled throughout dozens of data centers and has over 99.99% availability despite frequent denial of service attempts. Furthermore, our team maintains tools used by developers to help deliver the website, such as canary release build management, dynamic staging environments, and web application settings allowing for experiments.Responsibilities include:- Developing Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for dozens of Twitch origins, utilizing both Fastly and Cloudfront to serve billions of requests for 30 million daily users- Maintaining docker infrastructure for origin web application servers, such as twitch.tv and m.twitch.tv (the mobile experience), as well as living room applications- Operating Nginx and Varnish applications to cache and serve assets (js, css, images, video) from S3- On Call for critical Twitch services and able to investigate and triage as necessary- Mentor other engineers as part of the Mentorship ProgramSkills used:Golang, VCL, Fastly, Cloudfront, ECS, Docker, EC2, Elasticache, OpenSearch, CDK, Route53, Terraform, Teamcity, Pagerduty, Grafana
