Directed on-site technical management of drilling fluids and related services. Collaborated customer and technical representative to maximize well-bore condition. Managed and mentored derrick hands and other rig crew. Administered stock levels and organised remote location logistics.Planned drilling fluids production and maintenance, then managed drilling crews to achieve positive outcomes. Worked with supervisors to build a continual feedback loop of information to ensure continual improvement of drilling fluid performance. Worked in remote areas on a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation while maintaining consistency and quality of work.Projects- Origin Energy: Completed lateral intercept wells, several coring jobs and developed lost circulation blend for Durham Ranch, Spring Gully and Condabri. Zero stuck pipe incidents during all projects.- Santos: Successfully identified bicarbonate contamination of Roma field ground water that was causing high mud weight and poor fluid quality. Solution led to improved drilling fluid recovery between wells, reducing overall fluid cost. Achievements- Achieved top 3 in class at 4 week Technical Manager training in Houston, TX- Selected to conduct first-in-country trial for re-usable drilling fluid BORE-HIB

Used and developed knowledge of water based chemistry to build and maintain drilling fluids on site. Was able to quickly troubleshoot any drilling fluid issues that arose to ensure smooth drilling operations and maintain wells within budget. Streamlined the drilling fluids of "factory wells" to ensure costs were maintained below projected. Maintained close relationships with customers and contractors to deliver desired results. Ensured all reports and tracking documents were accurate, thorough and submitted within deadline.Projects- Origin Energy: Managed multiple coil drilling rigs simultaneously in the Condabri, Combabula, Reidy Creek, Spring Gully and Durham Ranch fields. Spearhead push to increase polymer usage that led to improved weight control and reduce over-pull when tripping out coil.- QGC: Complete multiple environmentally sensitive water monitoring wells across all assets.- Arrow Energy: Developed drilling fluid programs for the Moranbah field.Achievements- Headhunted by management for placement as a result of interpersonal skills and ability to continue independent study- Recommendation to increase polymer concentration in consultation with technical professional was accepted for field wide adoption. Resulted in reduced drilling torque and fewer issues running casing

Brought on as the lead engineer for the division to cultivate new product applications and optimize manufacturing and quality assurance. Wrote and implemented standard operating procedures and safety documentation. Collaborated on new product development and manufacture to open new revenue streams. Developed and cultivated new and existing customers relations.Worked with conventional and unconventional petroleum resources in both the upstream and downstream spheres, providing expert consultation to operators about chemical treatments and applications. Areas of expertise involve waste water treatment and management, demulsification, natural gas processing, flow assurance, pour point depressants and reverse osmosis.Projects- Origin Energy: Biocide and demulsifier for gas processing facilities; wellhead treatments for biocide and scale inhibitor for coal seam gas fields- IOR Energy: Corrosion inhibitors and pour point depressants for Eromanga refinery- Arrow Energy: Demulsifier and biocide for gas processing facilities- Beach Energy: Pour point depressants and demulsifier for wellheads and separator facilityAchievements- Went above and beyond job description to write safe working procedures for blending crew- Identified incorrect PPE use leading to improved worker safety- Organisation ability was critical in achieving ISO9001 status- Identified several cases of biocide under treatment at customer processing plants, potentially saving millions in corrosion related issues.
