The $318.2 million dollar project reduces congestion, improves safety for the community and travelers, and provides a maintenance-free infrastructure for decades to come.Primary Responsibilities:- Conducting daily site-specific new hire orientation and training in compliance with all federal state local and company regulations;- Performing weekly safety walks with staff and presenting findings to senior management;- Assisting in managing incident cases from injury to post-recovery;- Responsible for creating a Project Specific HSE Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan.

Chicago Harbor Lock North Pier Stabilization Project / US Army Corp of EngineersProject Scope: Drove 600 SF of new sheet pile / 28,000 SF of new sheet pile wall with tie-rods anchored across an existing whaler. This reconstruction project provides structural support, widens the pier, and provides stability to the lock. Primary Responsibilities:- Assisting in creating site-specific procedures, documentation management, etc.;- Conducting weekly toolbox talks and new hire orientations;- Providing assistance to the HSE manager by participating in inspections, trainings, and other safety related tasks;- Researching new potential training methods that can be implemented into the HSE program
