About Dylan Stoskopf

I'm a workaholic focused on learning, training & development. I am ambitious, but don't just want to make myself a better employee, I want to bring those around me to a higher level as well.I prefer Revit over AutoCAD because of the many opportunities to streamline workflows. I enjoy creating Revit families that are parametric and/or formula driven. I also like to find best practice modeling techniques as well as troubleshooting difficult modeling situations. I am also interested in creating Excel documents to help analyze building/development data versus municipal, state, and IBC requirements.The skills that I most need to improve upon is written and electronic communications. I get stressed by the amount of time it takes me to write what I think is an appropriate statement/response. Phone conversations feel hollow and trite, likewise bringing me undue stress. In both situations, I become self-conscious of how I sound as an individual and as the representative of my current employer. My prior employer said that my emails were overly courteous and weren't direct enough. Other things that will cause me stress in the workplace:* boredom from a lack of work* feeling underutilized* feeling like I'm not performing to my own expectations* feeling like I'm off-task or operating outside of the budget
