Lead engineer responsible for managing the AH-64 Tail Rotor Blade site transition. Responsibilities include:- Representing multiple engineering functions (structures, materials, design, and more) interfacing with program management and supplier engineering teams- Functioning as a design engineer in qualification of the new supplier; inclusive of multiple FAI's, multiple full scale fatigue tests, and a customer audit upon startup to ensure complete engineering definition conformance- Evaluating and revising project timeline and budget actively to ensure overrun of budget is mitigated.

Diagnose and design tooling and production solutions for the composite main rotor blades of both the AH-6 Light Attack Helicopter and the AH-64 Attack Helicopter- Diagnosed and resolved film adhesive porosity inclusions that halted rotor blade production with detailed RCCA process, including an iterative trial process to maximize solution producibility- Design tooling to define and diagnose spar laminate wrinkle root cause, and analyze corresponding data for preemptively enact manufacturing adjustments- Review manufacturing processes to ensure engineering fit, form, and function is preserved, consistent with engineering definition established and evaluated by customer audit

Acted as a quality engineer at the Mid-Size Truck and Van assembly GMC facility. This involved daily problem solving on the assembly line to alleviate issues within plant production, and warranty call backs. Some notable things done during this position included:- Performed and implemented a successful ergonomic study to reduce production cost of the plan by $25,000/ year.- Liaised with design engineering team to pre-preemptively resolve door lock rod levers, minimising warranty claims on a walk-home defect.- Performed large batch data analysis using MATLAB to diagnose PLC based biases in automated framing machines that would result in inconsistent fitment gaps of van doors.

Working closely with Prof. Hoecker-Martínez, I designed a fully functioning rotational tank, which is filled with fluid, to study the coriolis effect in fluid, with applications to real life geophysical fluid dynamics seen in the ocean. Some of these tasks included:- Designing a surface wave generation device running off a servo motor using OpenSCAD, and procured necessary parts.- Modelled the predicted wave patterns using ODE's within Python for model comparison.- Design and implementation of a power distribution on the rotating tank that would allow for power supply to the wave generator, altimiters, and additional power draws.- Responsible for design and construction of a gear motor pulley, using a chain to spin the 500 gallon tank at ~60 rpm.

I've tutored in the Academic Success center in the University of Redlands for upwards of a year. In doing so I'm responsible for working collaboratively with students; compiling notes, helping with homework, and clarifying class lessons for them. During my time at Tetra Tech Proteus I had to proactively find tasks to do, in order to assist both the disciplines of Mechanical and Civil engineering. Some of these tasks included:- Pipe buckling and Pipe Deflection calculations of a water pipeline design.- Project planning (Using Microsoft Project) for a 2 year long implementation of a water pipeline project.- Planning and pricing of a small mining outpost's sewage piping.

I worked as an independent sales and marketing contractor acquiring clients by means of face-to-face sales. In the short span of roughly 5 months, I helped raise roughly $100,000 on behalf of the client. Whilst contracting, I also successfully coached a small team of associates in disciplines of personal presentation and personable sale skills to acquire more clients and hit the weekly performance goals of the team.

Working at one of the busiest, most reputable cafes in all of Perth, I was responsible for greeting guests, serving drinks and other condiments that the cafe had to offer, whilst maintaining a clean section and making sure that all team members were being as productive as possible.
