As a Technical Development Agent, I am involved in orienting new staff to Best Buy's Geek Squad Remote Services, develop and deliver training content, and conduct Quality Assurance of interactions

At Geek Squad I facilitate the complete solution of product repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, installations and other services for Windows, Mac, and Mobile devices using an online portal and remote desktop software. Additionally I tutor clients on the proper and optimal use of their products, as well identify and recommend additional solutions to the client.

Responsible for all my duties as a Technology Sales Specialist as well as working as the store's Repair Technician performing Tech Services and Repairs

At Staples Canada I was responsible for sales in the technology and furniture divisions, while also preforming general merchandising including preforming sale tag tear-down and preparation, ensure demo security is accounted for and maintained, and operating machinery to relocate and retrieve stock

Although only being a Site Interpreter at Kings Landing seasonally; I research New Brunswick, Canadian, and 19th-century history year-round. Through my interpretation of Martin Butler, a New Brunswick resident, I share my passion for letterpress printing methods. I teach guests of the museum process of creating a print job from inspiration to the preservation of printed goods, as well as "apprenticing" pupils in the Kings Landing Visiting Cousin and Kin programs.

I transitioned to Geek Squad within Best Buy for my recognized ability to effectively communicate with customers to address and diagnose their technical concerns by my experience on the sales floor. Through the role, I obtained hands-on experience in computer diagnostic and repair. I successfully completed extensive hardware and software repairs while coaching others on the process.

Junior Achievement’s 18 week Company Program offers a group of high school students an opportunity to take an eight month journey of triumphs, failures, and, ultimately, discovery. Generous corporate partners throughout the community not only provide the funding for the program but also provide the meeting space and most importantly employees from their organization who act as volunteer mentors (referred to as Advisors) over the 18-week period. The group of students, under the guidance of these Advisors, creates, manages, and liquidates a business in 18 weeks. They use real money, real products, and have real customers. Company Program gives student participants important “real world” experience; helping to build their confidence and pushing them to go beyond what they think is possible.

As a Sales Specialist at Best Buy, I was able to work with my colleagues to obtain top-in-district sales results for the Saint John Location multiple times and work together to also achieve a best in Canada designation once. I developed my product knowledge to confidently address client questions and concerns in the camera, computer, television, and audio departments.
