At present, I’m utilising the power of LinkedIn’s data to help make companies around Australia and New Zealand more productive and successful. However, my journey here has had a few twists and turns.I studied Journalism and entered into the marketing industry as a copywriter for an SEO agency. After finishing up in agency life having developed my craft in Digital Marketing, Landing Pages, UX and Online Content, I decided to move in-house. I chose professional services to gain insight on what the stance towards digital was in a traditionally late adopter industry. I ensured my next position was the complete opposite - an agile hospitality group where chances for innovation and ideas was high.Two very different 'in-house' experiences, both valuable in terms of my career progression. The follow-up, and my current workplace, is LinkedIn. At LinkedIn, I was able to combine marketing with consulting and work with some of Australia’s largest companies on their employer brand ad strategies. That then took me to now, where I’m leveraging that knowledge to help clients to Plan, Hire, Develop, and Engage talent. Outside of work, I'm about golf, almost any sport on a board (but just can't get my head around kiteboarding), coffee, a good bit of historical fiction and all things football.
