Worked two years as a consultant for Microsoft. We build an entire system to deliver real-time messages such as renewal reminders, discount offers, and timely relevant information directly to Microsoft customers. Our system integrated with may of Microsoft's products, such as Office 365, OneDrive, Office 2010, Office 2013, Windows 7, Window 8.1, and Windows 10. Our messages were delivered via the Get Office and Get Windows 10 apps on peoples machines. Our messages were also delivered to the legacy clients via the yellow hotbar directly under the toolbar. Customer support engineers also used our messages to verbally communicate offers to customers seeking to cancel or renew over the phone. I helped build the first pass of the frequency capping engine that ensured we didn't contact the same customer too many times. This system had to operate at massive scales, with request counts in the billions and still remain performant. The system I helped produce is now in use by many of the various product teams at Microsoft.

Designed and built a cloud based platform for rapidly building web and mobile applications. The platform allows users to create any data model, hierarchal or flat, and the system will generate a simple standardized service based API using the OData protocol. The system also allows users to define roles and permissions, access their API via several security protocols such as basic authentication, OAuth, and API key access. The system also provided push notifications for iOS, Android, and Windows phones as well as many other features to support web and mobile applications.Built real-time C# compiler using Roslyn compiler as a service to enable executing code triggers during data operations, as well as executing service actions for RPC type requests. Built custom AppDomain security boundaries to limit privileges of executed code. Enabled customers to create triggers and service actions using our custom online IDE.

Contracted to develop a secure communication and file sharing web application for nationwide usage by real estate agents, buyers, and sellers.This platform enabled agents, buyers, and sellers to securely share photos, documents, and videos of potential property purchases.

Developed ASP .NET Web Forms applications for such highly valued clients as Intel, Starbucks, HP, and Sterling Commerce. Provided real-time statistics administrative control panel that allowed clients to monitor the success of marketing campaigns.Built email-friendly marketing templates containing unique information for a given recipient based on their opt-in preferences. This resulted in a trackable, personalized email to be sent to the millions of opt-in recipients. Each email sent was coordinated with the real-time statistics allowing for multiple “touches” to the same user to be monitored. This form of marketing increased conversions. Maintained SQL Server databases and wrote complex queries to allow real-time marketing statistics updates.
