This documentation was crucial in demonstrating the impact of my work and ensuring the program received the necessary funding to continue its operations.

I had the opportunity to lead the recruitment for all project sites for the 2016-2017 group of volunteers. This involved working closely with site supervisors to ensure that the volunteer projects were planned, designed, and submitted in a manner that was consistent with program standards.One of my key responsibilities was to evaluate the progress of the projects through regular site visits and progress report reviews. This allowed me to ensure that the projects were on track and that any issues could be addressed in a timely manner.I was also able to bring four new project sites into the program. This involved establishing partnerships with new organizations and convincing them of the value of participating in the program. This was a significant accomplishment as it allowed us to reach more communities and have a greater impact.

During my time, I conducted extensive research into the resources available to county residents and created a comprehensive map of the services offered. This helped residents easily access the support they needed.I also played a key role in training 25 county service providers, teaching them how to use and update important platforms such as 211, Charity Tracker, and Get Connected. Ensuring that residents received accurate and up-to-date information was crucial in my role.I was also involved in the planning, logistics, training, and operation of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Cherokee County. The successful implementation of this program resulted in a significant financial benefit for county residents, with $88,509 returned to the community.
