I like to say I am the Jack of all trades but unlike the cliche saying, I have at least mastered some. I've played soccer since I was five years-old and had enough power in my little, right quad muscle to kick a ball forward at snail speeds. But it was enough for me to jump deep into something that turned into a life-long passion. But, with passion comes commitment and sacrifice. And I would be lying if I said it didn't take up the bulk of my daily life. Especially when I decided to pursue college soccer at California State University, Chico. To be honest, I was worried that soccer took up so much of my time that I would never be able to fall into a career having the outstanding resume full of internships, skills and job experience. But I realized, although I may not have a large number of internships and jobs, I have developed skills that I couldn't have learned otherwise. From the competitiveness on the pitch to the nature of teammates coming and going, I have gained many skills that I find useful on a daily basis and in professional settings. I've mastered communication with all sorts of people and characters. I learned how to problem solve efficiently and effectively on the fly. I know how to play all kinds of rolls whether it is falling into a line or standing up in front of that line and leading. I can work with people I don't necessarily see eye-to-eye with. I challenge myself everyday to be uncomfortable in order to grow as an individual. And, of course being a college soccer player for five years, I am competitive and have a drive that can't be taught.A competitive edge and the ability to work well in group settings, above all, are characteristics that I see as highly valuable in the public relations industry.Specialties: Writing, editing, organizing groups, communicating, social media managing, account managing, using excel.
