I am responsible for estimating in the scaffolding industry preparing quotations and material pick lists for residential scaffolding erection, dismantle and hire. Main Activities:· Communicating with customers;· Developing estimates from first principles;· Preparing quotes from design and bill of quantities· Responsible for cost management; · Managing the compilation of tender submissions;· Schedule management (Drafting, allocation, delivery, construction, dismantlement);· Preliminary design of scaffold arrangement plan (AutoCAD 2018, Bluebeam, Ai Adobe Illustrator CC 2018) and construct review/cost analysis;· Benchmarking costs and preparing value engineering;· Document control and facilitating sub-contractor and supplier packages inclusive of any tender addendums, clarification notices and analysis of quotations;· Managing variations and delivery;· Assisting with contract administration and specifications compliance;· Reporting monthly financial requirements, and· Participating in physical works (reorganising the warehouse).

I assisted in managing and coordinating staff, being a Manufacturing/Technical Engineer in a hotrolling round steel industry. The project experience was shown below:· Controlled Rolling and Controlled Cooling - $20 million - Design, procurement and constructionof modules, and integration of the cost and profit. The original cost was $25 million. Then Iredesigned the whole system which changing the position of cooling machines and reducing the costof the whole project to $20 million.· Improving the capacity of manufacturing - $12 million – Recalculate the heating time of the billetand improve the rhythm of manufacturing and reduce the length of the billet to increase production.Finally, the annual capacity of manufacturing of round steel increased 5% and the profit increased20$ million per year.· Improving hardness through cold rolling - $10 million – Without any extra cost of facilities toreduce the hardness of the spring round steel through the “Controlled rolling and ControlledCooling” system. Finally, the hardness is under 290HBW which was satisfied by the customers andalso the company.· Improving the ferrite decarburization of round spring steel - $1 million – Leading a team of 5people to tackle a technical problem. We used modifying variables and sampling test to improve theproduction process parameters. The ferrite decarburization was reduced by decreasing the heatingtime.
